Before & After Taylor Bathroom
Bloomington-Normal, IL
This bathroom remodeling project gave these homeowners a great new space that hadn't been updated in decades. We tore out brightly-colored carpeting, wall-hung cabinets, and a sink countertop that was likely more than 50 years old. The standing shower and detached bathtub limited the space in the bathroom and made for an awkward space with the large bay window above the tub.
We provided installation of new countertop for the double sinks along with added storage with a cabinet on top of the sink. When it came to the shower, the client opted out of having a bathtub, allowing our team at Parker Builders to design a unique, spacious shower. Along with beautiful tile designs, we created a half wall that extends the shower from the corner of the room right up to the window.
Along this half wall is now a shower bench, great for elderly residents to go along with a handheld showerhead. We completed the room with large glass panes for the door and wall. We were proud to serve this client by giving them a more comfortable and modern bathroom!
